French producer and DJ Bertrand Jacquet brings his dub Techno and Techno project 23.4 to FUSE CLUB DISCOVERY.
Based in Lille, north of France, Bertrand has more than a decade of experience in music production and DJing. His sound explores the intersection between hypnotic Techno rhythms, deep dub atmospheres and raw club energy.
Launched in 2020, the 23.4 project quickly gained recognition through releases on respected underground compilations and labels such as Insectorama, Pragmat, and Axaminer. Since then, Bertrand Jacquet’s musical focus has evolved towards faster, club-oriented dub Techno, blending spatial sound design with driving grooves that demand strong physical engagement on the dancefloor.
Recent years have seen 23.4 release EPs on a few labels, including Berlin-based imprints Entourage Concept and Virgo, the Spanish Sungate Records — a key reference for deep and dub Techno — and Georgia’s DifferentSound label. Jacquet’s productions are characterized by dense textures, subtle modulation and a restrained but powerful approach to arrangement.
As a DJ, 23.4 delivers deep, hypnotic sets rooted in dub Techno, Techno and Detroit influences, carefully balancing tension, drops and groove. Bertrand’s sound is consistently immersive, cerebral and deeply connected to the physicality of sound.
In 2025, Bertrand Jacquet launched his own vinyl and digital label Dub Consistency, a platform dedicated to deep, dub-driven Techno and long-form club music, further cementing his artistic vision and commitment to the underground scene.
So far, 2026 is shaping up to be a busy year. Bertrand recently released the first vinyl record on his own label, with the digital version scheduled for release later this spring. Dub Consistency‘s second vinyl release should arrive towards the end of the year.
In between releases, 23.4 will be playing live in France during the coming months, including shows in Lille and Marseille, in April and May.
For FUSE CLUB, Bertrand has focused on maintaining the energy throughout, with fast dub and Techno tracks. The mix is full of Jacquet’s favourites, featuring 10 emerging producers from his hometown Lille: Tristan Blach, Classic Blue (Mathys Lenne & Sun Burn), Little Fish, Solo Kin, Fook Yue, Yrsen, Odium, Fhaze87, and himself. Bertrand has also graced our mix with 4 tracks taken from his own imprint’s first release, launched in early 2026; as well as a few unreleased productions from producers or labels he loves.
